Lately I have been struggling with the fact that I feel like I am losing my best friend of what seems like forever. I can remember meeting Jessica for the first time like it was yesterday. I had just moved to Newcastle, Oklahoma from Georgia and it was my first softball practice. I came into the field house and introduced myself to the whole team in what Jessica says is the "most southern, hickest voice" that anyone had ever heard. Jessica piped up and said how about we just call you "Georgia." From that day forward we were inseparable. From teaching Jess how to drive, numerous sleep overs, spending every friday night together, birthdays, parties, numerous softball trips, jamming out to "Get Big", to a Spring Break in Panama City Beach. She knows all of my deepest darkest secrets, well she practically knows me better than I know myself. I cherish all of the memories that we have made. I hope that God can send me a friend that is half of the friend that she has been. I miss all of our times together and maybe one day we can live in the same state again. Here is a recap of some of our best times together.

When I have a baby, she’ll be the god mother.
And when I die, my grave will be right next to hers.
This girl is more than my best friend, she’s my other half
